1. Commitment to Accessibility

We aim to provide an inclusive digital environment that supports access to journal information, article metadata, editorial policies, archives, and essential user journeys across both desktop and mobile devices.

Accessibility is an integral part of our continuous service improvement efforts. We strive to reduce barriers that may limit access to scholarly resources and publishing services.

2. Accessibility Standard Target

We aim to design and continuously improve our digital platform in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. While we work toward full compliance, certain legacy or third-party content may not yet fully conform to these standards.

3. Measures We Take

To enhance accessibility, we implement the following measures:

  • Use of clear heading structures and meaningful page titles
  • Improved keyboard navigation for interactive elements
  • Readable typography with appropriate spacing and contrast
  • Responsive design for accessibility across devices and screen sizes
  • Continuous review of forms, buttons, links, and system messages
  • Encouragement of accessible publishing practices for authors

4. Accessible Scholarly Content

We encourage authors and contributors to adopt accessible content practices, including:

  • Logical document structure and clear sectioning
  • Descriptive headings and meaningful link text
  • Alternative descriptions for figures, images, and non-text content

Due to the nature of academic publishing, some PDFs, archived materials, tables, figures, or externally submitted content may present accessibility limitations.

5. Known Limitations

Some older content, archived articles, third-party integrations, embedded media, or externally hosted documents may not fully meet current accessibility standards.

We continuously review and improve high-priority areas to enhance accessibility over time.

6. Third-Party Content and Services

Certain parts of the journal platform may rely on third-party services such as hosting systems, indexing platforms, embedded tools, or external repositories.

While we aim to use accessible solutions, we do not have full control over the accessibility compliance of third-party services.

7. Feedback, Assistance, and Alternative Access

If you encounter any accessibility barriers or require assistance in accessing content, please contact us with details of:

  • The issue encountered
  • The webpage or content involved
  • The type of assistance required

Where reasonably possible, we will provide alternative access, address the issue, or guide you to suitable resources.

8. Review Cycle and Updates

This Accessibility Statement may be updated periodically to reflect improvements in technology, content accessibility, evolving standards, and service enhancements.
